DNVGL ST F101 Submarine Pipeline Ovality

Calculate DNVGL-ST-F101 submarine pipeline ovality from the out of roundness tolerance, or measured maximum and minimum diameter. Pipe ovalisation can be calculated from the initial ovality and the bending strain.

CALCULATOR : DNVGL ST F101 Section 7.7.2 Subsea Pipeline Out Of Roundness And Ovality [FREE]   ±

Calculate subsea pipeline out of roundness and ovality (DNVGL-ST-F101 section 7.7.2 table 7-19). Tolerances can either be specified from table 7-19, user defined fraction / percentage tolerance, user defined allowance, or calculated from user defined or measured maximum and minimum diameter. All tolerances should be entered as positive values. For pipe diameters over 1.422 m, tolerances are as agreed with the supplier.
