Calculate ASME B31.3 general pipe design pressure from diameter, wall thickness and design stress.
The hoop stress is equal to the design stress at the design pressure. The design internal pressure includes the effect of external pressure (relevant for piping with external pressure only). For normal piping the external pressure should be set to zero.
For AS 2885.1 pipe, select the Barlow's equation outside diameter option. The manufacturing tolerance is normally ignored except for cases where the tolerance exceeds the relevant specification (eg some seamless pipe). All tolerances should be positive. The corrosion allowance should include mechanical allowance (eg threads), erosion allowance and any other allowances.
