AS 2885.1 Pipeline Fatigue Stress

Calculate AS 2885.1 pipeline fatigue stress and allowable cycles.

A fatigue analysis is not required for stress amplitude less than or equal to 35 MPa. A fracture mechanics analysis is recommended for stress amplitude greater than 165 MPa. The fatigue curve is not valid for stress amplitude greater than 165 MPa.

CALCULATOR : AS 2885.1 Appendix N Fatigue Stress [FREE]   ±

Calculate fatigue stress and allowable cycles (AS 2885.1 Appendix N).

Calculate the allowable stress amplitude from the number of stress cycles, or calculate allowable stress cycles from the stress amplitude. For stress amplitude ≤ 35 MPa, a fatigue stress analysis is not required. The fatigue curve is not valid for stress amplitude > 165 MPa. A fracture mechanics analysis is recommended for stress amplitude > 165 MPa.
