Judge not and you shall not be judged. Condemn not and you shall not be condemned. Forgive and you shall be forgiven. Give and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over will be given back to you. For with the same measure you use it will be measured back to you. UNIT : Unit : Acceleration 01 : Gravitational Acceleration G : Unit Conversion Tool

Description : Convert between linear acceleration units.

Standard Unit : STD unit gravity [g = 9.80665 m/s²]. SI unit meters per second squared [m/s²].

Discussion : Accelerationj has dimension length per time squared. Imperial acceleration units are based on the US statute foot = 0.3048 meters.

Gravitational acceleration is the acceleration of a mass due to the gravitational attraction force, and is also commonly referred to as the gravity acceleration, the acceleration due to gravity, the gravity force, the specific gravity force or the gravity force per unit mass. Gravitational acceleration varies depending where on the earths surface you are located. Gravitational acceleration is higher at the North and South poles, and is lower at the equator. For example at sea level at the North and South poles, gravity equals 9.832 m/s². At sea level on the equator gravity equals 9.780 m/s². Gravitational acceleration also reduces with altitiude. By convention, the standard gravitational acceleration is taken as 1 g = 9.80665 m/s².

Units :

  • centi-meter per second squared [ cm/s² ]
  • feet per second squared [ ft/s² ]
  • [STD] gravitational acceleration [ g ]
  • galileo [ gal ]
  • inch per second squared [ in/s² ]
  • (knot) per second [ knot/s ]
  • (kilometer per hour) per second [ kph/s ]
  • meter/second squared [ m/s² ]
  • (mile per hour) per second [ mph/s ]

UNIT : Unit : Acceleration 03 : Acceleration Inverse : Unit Conversion Tool

Description : Convert between inverse linear acceleration units.

Standard Unit : STD unit second squared per meter [s²/m] or seconds per meter per second [s/(m/s)].

Discussion : Inverse acceleration has dimension time squared per length. Inverse acceleration is the reciprocal or inverse of acceleration. The conversion tool can also be used to convert directly from acceleration units meters per second squared [m/s²] and feet per second squared [ft/s²](acceleration) to inverse acceleration units. Imperial acceleration units are based on the US statute foot = 0.3048 meters.

Units :

  • per gravitational acceleration [ /g ]
  • per galileo [ /gal ]
  • feet per second squared per [ ft/s²/ ]
  • gravitational acceleration per [ g/ ]
  • meter per second squared per [ m/s²/ ]
  • [STD] second squared per meter [ s²/m ]
  • second per (centi-meter per second) [ s/(cm/s) ]
  • second per (feet per second) [ s/(ft/s) ]
  • second per (inch per second) [ s/(in/s) ]
  • second per (meter per second) [ s/(m/s) ]
  • second per knot [ s/knot ]
  • second per (kilometer per hour) [ s/kph ]
  • second per (mile per hour) [ s/mph ]
