Discussion : Calculate the breaking wave limits for shallow water and deep water waves. In shallow water waves break when the ratio of wave height to water depth is greater than or equal to 0.78. In deep water the condition for breaking waves is

H / (g t2) >= 0.0223

where

H = wave height
g = gravity acceleration
t = wave period
